Arsenal in the Community welcomed a volunteer group from club partner BT Sport to support some of its projects taking place at the Arsenal Community Hub and around Islington.
After a presentation to explain what the team does both near and far, the Arsenal in the Community group took the BT Sport staff gardening, along with some of our employability participants and the local authority and helped tidy up a local park.
Another group of volunteers helped oversee an Arsenal in the Community bowls session, which since its inception in the 1980s has given older residents in the local community the opportunity to interact with fellow enthusiasts and staff.
The remaining group assisted the running of a learning disability football session, a weekly session for adults with learning disabilities.
Thanks to all the volunteers from BT Sport for an enjoyable morning and also for your support.
