Alexis has played alongside a number of great players in his 11 years as a professional footballer, but there is one Arsenal legend he would have loved to combine with more than anyone else.
The Chile forward has starred in his new role as a striker with 14 goals already this season, and he thinks he would have relished an attacking partnership with our record goalscorer, Thierry Henry.

“I would like to have played with Henry,” Alexis told the Arsenal Magazine. “He could score, play one-twos with you, pass the ball and hold it up well too. He had a huge repertoire and great vision. I like playing with players with such a panoramic vision.
“I think we would do great together. We would be constantly moving, going up and down, coming and going. I would have loved playing with Henry.
“He was more of a scorer than I am. I think I would assist him for every goal he would score! I’m more into passing and he is a great goalscorer.”
