Alexis, who claimed 54.7 per cent of the votes cast, edged out Olivier Giroud into second place despite the France international scoring three times and claiming one assist.
Mesut Ozil - named Player of the Month in October - finished in third spot after scoring a sensational goal at Ludogorets and laying on two assists for his team-mates.
