As part of the Arsenal Ladies Talent Pathway, we are pleased to announce that we will be running an under-9s development squad that will support players beneath our FA Regional Talent Club (RTC) and run as part of our Player Development Programme.
We are looking for talented young players who are excelling within their football club and have ambitions of playing for Arsenal Ladies' RTC in the future.
In order to be part of this squad, you must be born between the following dates:
Under-9s: Born between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2009
Trials will be held as part of our Player Development Programme trials on August 23 and August 30, with training commencing on Tuesday, September 6.
Successful players will be offered a place within the under-9s pre-RTC Development Squad, who will train every Tuesday between 5pm and 6pm at Boreham Wood Football Club, WD6 5AL.
Players will still be able to play for their grassroots club.
As part of this programme the players will also be provided with the following:
- Twenty-five weeks of training from September to March with Arsenal Ladies RTC staff
- Arsenal Ladies training kit
- Two half-term fixture festivals
- Two reviews to help monitor their progress
Players who are unsuccessful will also be considered for our player development programmes, which will enable us to monitor and track player’s development with future opportunities to progress at a later stage into the RTC.
Trials will take place on August 23 and August 30, between 5pm and 6.30pm at the University of Hertfordshire (AL10 9EU) as part of our Player Development Programme.
If you have already completed a Player Development Programme trial application form, you do not need to re-apply. You will be considered for all our programmes when attending the trial dates if eligible for this age group.
