Arsenal will be hosting the 2015 Arsenal Charity Shield at London Colney on Saturday 6 June, in aid of the Arsenal Foundation.
Eleven-a-side adult teams of all standards are invited to register to take part. Individual players and small groups are also welcome to apply to participate, and will be put into a team.
Entrants will have the chance to visit the club’s state-of-the-art training facility, and play football on the same pristine playing surface enjoyed by Arsène Wenger and his players during the season.
A trophy will be presented for the winning team, with prizes for top fundraisers too.
Each team will be required to make a minimum donation of £750 to The Arsenal Foundation to enter a squad of 15 players. Individual players applying to take part without a team are asked to pledge a minimum of £100.
Mirroring the club’s philosophy of giving young players a chance, the Arsenal Foundation is a grant-giving body which works to motivate and inspire young people – often through education and sport – to help them reach their potential and be the best they can be.
