Where is your club from? All over Romania
How many members are there in your club? More than 110 after only one year of getting official recognition.
What is you favourite meeting place? We are spread all over the country so we have many favourite pubs where we gather for watching Arsenal. The most popular one is Mojo Bar in Bucharest, the capital. Among other pubs where we meet we can mention: Londoner in Cluj Napoca, Casa Berii in Targu Mures, British Pub in Brasov, Bugar’d Pub in Timisoara, X-Pub in Satu Mare or Da Vinci Pub in Craiova.
What is your most memorable Arsenal game? There are so many, is hard to pick only one. Of course most recently is the 2014 FA Cup final, fabulous joy after all those years… Another game, not that important in fact, the Leeds tie from the FA Cup third Round in 2012. Thierry Henry was back for Arsenal and his trademark goal sealed the win for us 12 minutes before full-time. That moment alone was astonishing.
Who is your favourite player? Just one? At this moment, absolutely, Alexis Sanchez is our favourite player because of all what he’s doing for our beloved team. Otherwise, our all-time favourite players are Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry…
What does your match day consist of? A match day starts in our online community one day before the kick-off with game preview on arsenalromania.ro and Facebook invitations to our members. On the day we are meeting at the pub (in cities around the country), set up the place with flags and banners, changing information about the team (what we read, heard, watched about AFC) and about gameweek’s fixtures and results. Before, during and after the match we love to sing Gooners’ chants and, oh well, drinking some good beers together all this time.
What are your score predictions for the next game? Arsenal 3-0 Leicester
What are your hopes for the rest of the season? Qualifying for the Uefa Champions League next season; FA Cup would still be a nice bonus, of course; Champions League final would be a dream.
