Sheaf signs first professional contract

Central midfielder Ben Sheaf has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Sheaf, who turned 17 on Thursday, joined the Gunners from West Ham in summer 2014.

The Dartford-born youngster has impressed in his debut season at the club, making 12 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and featuring for Arsenal in both the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.

Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Ben on his first professional contract and looks forward to his continued development at the club.
