Arsenal will be holding the annual charity fun run, ‘Be a Gunner. Be a Runner’, on Saturday, April 11.
The flagship race will take place at Emirates Stadium, with international supporters once again encouraged to run their own versions.
Supporters’ clubs in the past have played a massive role in setting up races all over the world in recent years. Thirty countries got involved in 2014, helping to raise over £30,000 for the Arsenal Foundation. There are some great pictures here.
We would love for you to be involved again this year.
As a reminder of the process, you would need to devise your own 6.4km running route and email the details to bagbar@arsenal.co.uk, together with the number of runners expected to take part. The Be a Gunner. Be a Runner. team will then send you race number for each of your runners.
Prizes will be available to the groups who send on the best pictures from their race preparations and the race itself, and those who are able to fundraise most successfully for the Arsenal Foundation. We have a shirt signed by the first team squad available among other things.
As you may well know already, the Arsenal Foundation supports projects in the UK and overseas that transform the lives of young people. We have so far committed more than £1million to projects, benefitting in excess of 100,000 people. More details are available here.
