It was a good performance by the team. We knew it was going to be a tough game so we prepared well for it.
on a clean sheet…
That’s always a positive for me, getting a clean sheet as a defender. I thought we defended well throughout the whole game so that’s a plus for us.
on whether they have talked about scoring more from corners…
As a defender, that’s what we want to do. We all want to score goals from corners so I’m really pleased for him, he deserves it.
on how special the FA Cup is to him…
It’s very special to me and all the players here. We all want to progress and do really well, so it’s a really good result for us.
on whether the players talk about last season’s final…
Yeah they do. It’s a very special moment for them and the club. We just want to repeat it this year.
on his own form…
I’m just really enjoying myself. I want to keep my head down and work hard every day. I’m really enjoying my football.
