Calum Chambers has warned Arsenal not to underestimate Borussia Dortmund, even though the 2012/13 finalists have had a mixed start to the season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side currently occupy the relegation play-off spot in the Bundesliga after only winning three of their 12 league games this campaign.
However, Dortmund have secured three points in all of their Champions League games - including a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the Westfalenstadion - and can make qualification to the last 16 a difficult task for Arsenal.
"It was an experience for all of us and we all learned from that night"
“It has [been a bit of a struggle for them],” the 19-year-old told Arsenal Player. “They’re not doing as well as they normally do in the league but it doesn’t mean they’re not a good team.
“The Champions League is different. You have to be a lot more careful with your tackles and challenges because of the way the officials are.
“They’re a very good team and we saw that when we last went out there. I didn’t play in that one because I had an illness but it was a tough night for all of us. It was an experience for all of us and we all learned from that night.
“It is about the point [that Arsenal need to qualify] but we need to get a win and a good performance as well. We go into every game the same, we work on a game plan during the week before and we work on what we can do so we go into the game with the same mentality.”
