Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says he can learn a lot from man-of-the-moment Alexis Sanchez.
Alexis has quickly become a favourite among Gunners fans and players alike thanks to his hard work, persistence and, most importantly, goals.
Oxlade-Chamberlain paid tribute to Alexis’ fine start in an Arsenal shirt and believes he can add some of the Chilean's qualities to his own game.
"He’s an attacking player like I am and he goes past players like I try to. I can always learn from a player like him"
“It’s hard not to be able to learn from someone who’s been at the clubs that he has,” Oxlade-Chamberlain explained. “Not just that - his ability on the ball is second to none and you can always pick up little things.
“He’s an attacking player like I am and he goes past players like I try to. I can always learn from a player like him. The work he does up front is something that everyone can definitely learn from as well.
“He’s been a great character in the dressing room. He doesn’t speak the best English just yet but he’s keen to learn and he wants to be involved and around everyone. That’s not just the Spanish lads, that’s the English lads and the French boys as well.
“It always helps when you’ve got someone who wants to be part of the team and has good character. I’ve been really happy with him and I’m delighted that he’s part of this team.”
