Arsenal Football Club is pleased to announce improvements to its Ticket Exchange service which will be introduced during the 2013/14 season. The enhancements come as part of continuing work to give Gold level members (season ticket holders) more flexibility when using their ticket at Emirates Stadium.
From next season, Gold level members who cannot attend a game will have the ability to sell their ticket electronically to a fan of their choice once a fixture has officially sold out. The vendor will also be able to choose to have proceeds of the sale deposited in their bank account or credited to the purchase of a future season ticket.
The updates to the Ticket Exchange service follow the recent news of a Ticket Transfer* facility being introduced from next season, allowing Gold level members to transfer their ticket to a friend or family member by e-mail. By creating a virtual list of contacts, season ticket holders will be able to efficiently manage who uses their seat if the supporter is unable to attend a match at Emirates Stadium.
The Club would also like to confirm the Gold level membership renewal deadline has been extended to 5pm on Friday, June 7.
The renewal window for Gold level membership opened following the Club’s conclusion of its Barclays Premier League campaign on Sunday, May 19 which saw the first team confirm their Champions League status for a 16th consecutive season. Due to the limited time for Gold level members to renew their membership the Club has decided to extend the renewal deadline.
