Arsene Wenger insists he has total confidence in every member of his squad as he considers which team to pick to face Liverpool.
The Gunners resume their FA Cup campaign on Sunday, and there is speculation that the manager will rest players ahead of Wednesday's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
“I will play a team [against Liverpool] with a good opportunity, a good chance to qualify,” he said. “Will I rest one player, or two or three, I don’t know yet. Certainly we will have just have one focus, which is to win the game.
"I have the same level of confidence in every player in my squad. I have a short squad but a very level squad"
“We have rotated quite well, if you look at the number of players we have used. I have the same level of confidence in every player.
“For example, I rate Jenkinson but Sagna has a bit more experience so when we go in a game with more pressure I give the advantage sometimes to the experienced [player].
“But I have the same level of confidence in every player in my squad. I have a short squad but a very level squad.”
With Santi Cazorla set to miss Sunday’s game due to illness, Wenger is pleased to have Mathieu Flamini back after suspension.
“We have at the moment no Ramsey, and if Cazorla is not available then we are a bit short in midfield so he is welcome back,” he said.
