Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah have been shortlisted for the Premier League 2’s Player of the Season award.
Between first-team appearances - including debuts for both and Nketiah’s match-winning performance against Norwich - our talented youngsters helped our under-23s win the league, both scoring as we secured the title at London Stadium last month.
In total, Nelson netted nine times in 11 PL2 appearances, while Nketiah scored 12 goals in just 13 starts for our second string.
The shortlist has been picked by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will also decide the winner.
The winner will be revealed at the Youth Development Conference Gala Dinner on Thursday, May 17.
