Noelle Maritz became our fourth signing of the summer when she joined us from VfL Wolfsburg this week.
But having registered interest from a number of other top European sides, what made her choose The Arsenal?
“I’m really excited and really happy that I can play for such a huge club,” Maritz told Arsenal Digital.
“I can’t wait to get started. Their ambition to play really good football is really important. I’ve seen a few games now of course and I talked to Joe and he was just really convincing. I feel like it’s a really good step in my career and that it’s a whole new challenge. I see it as the right move for me, so I’m really excited.
“It wasn’t too long ago [that I knew of Arsenal’s interest] because of course coronavirus slowed things down, but I’m just super excited to finally get started and meet the whole team. I can’t wait to see how it is to be an Arsenal player."
