Loan Watch: Lucas and Asano in action

Lucas played the full 90 minutes in Deportivo La Coruna’s 4-0 loss at Barcelona, where Luis Suarez and Paulinho were on target either side of the break for the hosts.

Takuma Asano came on for the final eight minutes in Stuttgart’s 1-0 defeat at Bayern Munich, who took all three points thanks to a late winner from Thomas Muller.

Stephy Mavididi was an unused substitute in Preston North End’s 1-0 win at home against Sheffield Wednesday, where Jordan Hugill was the match-winner with a 58th-minute strike.

Kelechi Nwakali was on the bench for VVV-Venlo in their 1-0 win at Roda JC. Clint Leemans scored the winner 14 minutes from time, before the hosts lost Adil Aussar to a red card.

Cohen Bramall was an unused substitute in Birmingham City’s 2-1 loss at home against QPR, who snatched the three points with a late Jack Robinson goal. Robinson had opened the scoring in the first half, before Sam Gallagher struck to level the scores.

Emiliano Martinez was involved on the bench for Getafe in their 1-0 loss at Girona, who were winners thanks to an early header from Cristhian Stuani.
