Loan watch: Asano and Lucas both in action

We had four players involved with their loan clubs over the weekend, scroll down to find out how they got on:

Takuma Asano played for 57 minutes in Stuttgart’s 1-0 loss at Werder Bremen, who took all three points through a first-half strike from Max Kruse.

Lucas Perez played the full 90 minutes in Deportivo la Coruna’s 2-0 loss at Sevilla. Wissam Ben Yedder struck shortly before the break to open the scoring, before Michael Krohn-Dehli sealed the win with a late goal.

Kelechi Nwakali was an unused substitute for VVV-Venlo in their 2-0 loss against AZ Alkmaar, who won thanks to an own goal from Ralf Seuntjens and a late strike from Pantelis Chatzidiakos.

Emiliano Martinez was on the bench for Getafe in their 1-0 home win against Valencia. The hosts edged out as winners thanks to Market Bergara’s effort shortly after the hour mark.
