Little and Miedema up for PFA Player of the Year

Congratulations to Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema who have been nominated for the PFA Players' Player of the Year award!

Our dynamic duo were once again at their best throughout 2019/20. Little - who boasts 137 goals in 203 Arsenal appearances - captained us to a Uefa Women's Champions League quarter-final and directly contributed to 18 goals in all competitions, scoring 12 and setting up another six.

Meanwhile Miedema continued to break records, following her 31-goal campaign last year with another 29 strikes in all competitions this time around. That incredible return included six goals and four assists in a single match, and back-to-back hat-tricks against Slavia Prague. Our No 11 has scored 69 times in just 66 starts since joining us from Bayern Munich.

The PFA Awards will be broadcast on Tuesday, September, 8 at 7pm (UK time) on the PFA’s social media channels.

The PFA Awards recognises the outstanding performers from every division and is a celebration of the achievement of all PFA members’ from the last 12 months.
