Leno – My assessment of the game… and my display

Bernd Leno delivered a man-of-the-match performance on Sunday as we drew 1-1 with Wolves.

The Germany international made four outstanding saves throughout the game, and afterwards we spoke to him about the game.

This is what he told Arsenal Media:

on his assessment of a frantic game…
I think both teams had many choices and at the end we could have won or lost, so the result is okay for the performance

on his vital save to stop Wolves from doubling their advantage…
I think if we conceded the second goal then the game would have been finished so it was important to concede just the one goal so that we had the chance to at least draw. At the end we could have won this game.

on the need to return to winning ways…
Of course we are 16 games unbeaten, but we have to win these games because these games at home are very important. Today the result is a little bit disappointing.
