Leah Williamson has been named Player of the Month for March following our supporters' monthly vote.
With three clean sheets and two assists across six appearances, Leah has displayed her talent and versatility as both a centre-back and midfielder this month. She also recorded her first goal in a year, hitting the target decisively in our 4-0 rout over Reading.
In the absence of Kim Little, who was subbed off through injury ten minutes into our home quarter-final against Bayern Munich, Leah donned the captain's armband to help lead us into the Champions League semi-finals. In that tie, it was her stylish back flick that set up Frida Maanum's wonder strike against the German side.
Elsewhere in the poll, Caitlin Foord and Stina Blackstenius were voted second and third respectively after our two forwards enjoyed a prolific month on the field.
Leah is the sixth different player to receive the Player of the Month accolade this season. Rafaelle Souza, Vivianne Miedema, Laura Wienroither and Beth Mead have each been voted the top performer once so far. Frida Maanum has come top twice - in October and January.
