Alex Lacazette is in red-hot form right now.
The France international scored twice against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday to make it five goals in his last four games - and Mikel Arteta is delighted with his performances.
“He was great, he needed that confidence with the goals,” Arteta told Arsenal.com.
“His work rate is always there, he’s always fighting for the team but he needed that luck for the ball to land to him in the right moments.
“I think he’s in a great moment, we have to take advantage of that and give him minutes because it seems like he’s enjoying it.”
Arteta also took the time to praise Kieran Tierney, who capped a fine individual display with an brilliant opening goal.
“It was great,” our manager said. “I think the whole action [was great] because he wanted to play forward, he was determined to move the ball forward, he gets the dribble.
“It was a terrific shot and you saw his reaction. I’m so happy for him, I think he’s been really really good. I think he’s been outstanding in some games and I’m really pleased for him to score that goal.”
