Gabriel is up against five other players for the accolade - Luton Town's Elijah Adebayo who hit a hat-trick against Brighton, Connor Bradley who made an impact in Liverpool's defence with three assists in two games, and his teammate Diogo Jota who had five goal involvements in those matches.
