Will there be a ticketing ballot for the Rapid Vienna fixture?

No. We will not be running a ballot for the Rapid Vienna match for various reasons. The different restrictions and guidelines for UEFA matches, coupled with the short timeframe to provide information to our fans, and receive information from our fans, would have ultimately created too many complications.

The UK Government confirmed that fans would be allowed to return to stadia, subject to the venue’s COVID Tier Status, on Monday 23 November. London’s COVID Tier 2 Status was only confirmed on Thursday 26 November. This was too short a turnaround time to provide and receive information from fans if we were running a ballot process. Our priority is to run a high quality and safe event, while welcoming fans back to Emirates Stadium at the earlier opportunity. On this basis, we will run a Priority Sale for the Rapid Vienna game as a one-off.

Will you be continuing with the Priority Sale process while we remain in the tier system?

No. We will resume our plans to hold a ticketing ballot for our Premier League match at Emirates Stadium against Burnley, currently scheduled for Saturday 12 December 2020 (subject to change).

More information on the balloting process for this fixture, and for future 20/21 fixtures, will follow w/c 30 November.

How many tickets will I be able to purchase for the Rapid Vienna fixture?

For Premium and Gold members who made their Initial Payment and registered for ballots in September, tickets will be capped at four per booking, subject to availability, and you must have a membership number for each ticket you purchase.

Where in the stadium will my tickets be allocated?

We will be opening the lower tier and Club Level.

I am a Gold member; will I be able to purchase tickets in Club Level?

No, Gold members can only buy tickets for the Rapid Vienna fixture in the lower tier.

I am a Premium member; will I be able to purchase tickets or be balloted into the lower tier?

No, Premium members will only have the opportunity to buy tickets for the Rapid Vienna fixture on Club Level.

If I purchase multiple tickets, will they be situated together?

Supporters who successfully purchase tickets will be allocated seats together in the relevant area.

UEFA regulations stipulate that all seats must be socially distanced, even for fans who attend with other members of their household or support bubble. Due to the size of the seats, this means there will be up to two seats between occupied seats in the lower tier, and one seat between occupied seats on Club Level.

Please note, as a Platinum Member, you must ensure your group is made up on one household or support bubble as you will be seated together at a table on Club level when inside the stadium. Food and drink service will be table service only in line with current government guidance.

As a Senior citizen/Junior Gunner season ticket holder, will I be able to purchase my ticket at the concession price?

Yes, subject to availability. You will need to call the Service Centre on 0207 619 5000 (option 1) at 9am on Saturday 28 November to purchase your tickets.

What if I purchase a ticket for the Rapid Vienna fixture but I can no longer attend?

Ticket Transfer will be in operation and can be accessed via eTicketing.

Please ensure you use this service is you are unable to attend the match. Given the extremely small allocation, we want to make sure that every ticket is utilised. If you have any questions, please call the Service Centre on 0207 619 5000.

Why can’t Silver and Red members have access to tickets?

Welcoming back a small number of fans is an important step forward, but we are continuing to work with the Premier League and the UK Government to increase our attendances. This would enable us to open ticket access to more membership groups. Until this can be done, we appreciate the disappointment that many of you will feel if you will miss out on attending games.

Will Premium members be given priority?

No. For the Rapid Vienna match, the tickets available to Premium members is consistent with the proportion of Premium level seats in Emirates Stadium. The split of tickets available is also proportional to the number of GA and Premium members that registered in the ballot.

How can you assure me that it will be safe to attend?

These are clearly exceptional circumstances and the health, safety and security of everyone is our top priority. When fans return to Emirates Stadium, extra measures will be in place to protect us all. This includes the introduction of new hygiene measures and intensive cleansing routines, many of which were robustly tested at our recent screenings of the Manchester City and Manchester United matches.

What steps will I have to take to follow health and safety procedures?

All supporters attending the Rapid Vienna fixture and future games at Emirates Stadium will be required to complete an online health questionnaire and a track and trace form prior to the match. For the Rapid Vienna game, all necessary documentation will be emailed to you once you successfully purchase a ticket and your e-ticket will only be activated when these have been completed. This is in conjunction with UK Government and Premier League guidelines.

Furthermore, all fans must agree and adhere to the following Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant ticketing terms and conditions. It is essential that you take your time to read these documents carefully.

Can I still attend if I live in a Tier 3 area?

Supporters must ensure they adhere to the latest UK Government restrictions with regards to mixing households and travelling between areas in different tiers. This is currently not permitted under the latest guidelines and supporters living in a Tier 3 area should not purchase a ticket for the fixture.

How will you ensure supporters will not travel to the match from Tier 3 areas?

Will I be able to buy food and drink at the Rapid Vienna game?

Yes. Soft drinks and limited food will be available in the lower tier, but alcohol will not be available in this area. On Club Level, we will be operating table service only and alcohol will only be served if purchased with substantial food items.
