Jonas Eidevall was full of praise for his players following our 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday.
Beth Mead and Alessia Russo were the names on the scoresheet, but it was a complete team performance that helped us overcome the Foxes.
"We know this was a very competitive side, they give you very little time and space in certain areas," explained Eidevall when asked about the tactical battle. "You need to be playing on the third player, you need to make double movements, you need to be able to move the ball and wait for that moment. But, you also need to be quite aggressive in the way you press, you turn over the ball and you get the chance to play against them when they are disorganised.
"So, I think from a patience perspective in the way we played with the ball was good in both halves. But we needed to be more aggressive in our pressure and we were that in the second half and that made the game better for us because we forced turnovers for them a lot of times in their half and that creates a lot of good situations and moments for us.
"I'm really proud of the performance. I think we played a good football game today. Of course, it's always magnificent coming out here playing in front of the supporters. Again, they were amazing, they create such a nice atmosphere. So, thank you for being a part of this club."
