Eidevall on how he will use his forward options

Parris Miedema

As forward options go, Jonas Eidevall is spoilt for choice.

Not only does our front line boast two of the Women's Super League's all-time leading goalscorers in Vivianne Miedema and Nikita Parris, it also features exciting wide players Caitlin Foord and Beth Mead, as well as the mercurial Mana Iwabuchi.

So how can we expect to line up under Eidevall in 2021/22?

"There's plenty of talent at my disposal there and I'm absolutely delighted about the fact we have Miedema who is the best striker in the world at the moment," he told Arsenal.com. "We have Nikita Parris coming in, Mana Iwabuchi as well. They all have different qualities and that's what excites me so much.

"We have Miedema who is such a strong player in the box and is such a good finisher. We have Mana who has such high game intelligence and is so good at moving in small spaces, such a good passer too. We also have Nikita Parris who is a player that can isolate an opponent one against one, who can make excellent runs inside the penalty area to attack crosses, diagonal passes and combination plays.

"I think that will be really, really helpful during the season. The players have different qualities that we can combine together but we can also use them against different opponents to really find the weapons in each match to give us the wins."
