Danielle Carter has signed a long-term contract with us.
The 24-year-old skilful striker has been an integral part of our team since she joined us from Leyton Orient's Centre of Excellence in 2009.
Known for her strength, speed and a great eye for goal, Danielle has helped us to win five FA Cups, four Continental Cups and two Women's Super League titles within that time.
Manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: "We are delighted that Danielle has decided to commit her future to us. She is an incredible asset to our team and has been for many years now. She is a player that strives to continuously improve her game through hard work and determination and that is an attitude that we look for in our players."
Danielle added: "I am so happy to have signed a long-term contract with Arsenal. I love this club and I feel that I belong here. I want to win trophies and be the best that I can be, and I believe that I can do that here as an Arsenal player.
"I've committed my future because I want to help this team achieve our goals, and I’m going to do everything that I can to make that a reality.”
