Sabrina D'Angelo is our latest new face in North London and the Canadian goalkeeper is "so excited" to get started.
"It feels amazing and it's an honour to be here," she said in her first interview with Arsenal.com. "I'm a warm, bubbly person and I'm excited for everyone to get to know me and see me play when the opportunity comes!"
"Definitely a surreal experience and an overwhelming first day - just meeting everybody and the amount of staff that's here - but the girls have been amazing. They've made me feel very welcome, so I appreciate that."
Canadian international Sabrina joins us from Swedish side Vittsjo GIK, where she spent four years and made 70 appearances.
"My past club mean the world to me, but felt like it was time for a change," she said, reflecting on the move. "This league is doing amazing things and [this club] is doing amazing things. I wanted to help Arsenal get championships and win trophies and be a part of such an amazing team."
When it came to picking a destination, the 29-year-old noted that the tight-knit nature of our squad was an incredibly important element.
"A big selling factor was definitely the style of play that we play and also just the team chemistry that is here. Obviously, I hadn't met the girls before I came but just what Jonas had said about the team and how connected they are as a group - I value that."
"Oh my gosh, Manu and Kaylan have been incredible! And I'm so grateful that they welcomed me with open arms."
Sabrina's first game for The Arsenal couldn't be bigger, as we take on league-leaders Chelsea in front of a 40,000 plus crowd at Emirates Stadium.
"I'm so excited for this weekend. It's a big game and to be at the Emirates, it's a dream come true."
