The Champions League draw saw us take up a place in Group B alongside some familiar foes in Sevilla, PSV Eindhoven and Lens, and you can remind yourself of those games with our gallery.
We faced the French side in our very first Champions League encounter in September 1998 when we played out a 1-1 draw at their Stade Bollaert-Delelis home, with Marc Overmars grabbing our goals.
There have been two meetings with Sevilla previously, which came in the 2007/08 season when we ran out 3-0 victors at Emirates Stadium with Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Eduardo getting on the scoresheet, before we fell to a 3-1 defeat in Spain.
However we have many more experiences of facing PSV, with us now being paired together four times in the competition's history. The first meeting in 2002 saw goals from Gilberto Silva, Freddie Ljungberg and a Thierry Henry brace secure a 4-0 win in Eindhoven, before a 0-0 draw at Highbury in the group stages; the same stage that we faced each other in 2004/05 when an own goal secured us a home win before a 1-1 draw in Holland, when Lauren and Patrick Vieira both received red cards.
Our most recent meetings in the competition came in 2006/07 when we were drawn together in the round of 16. PSV won the first leg 1-0 at home, before securing a 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium after Alex scored at both ends to eliminate us.
