Changes to our Away Ticket Scheme

Following a thorough review, including dialogue with some of our supporters’ groups and with members of our wider fanbase, we have decided to phase out the Away Ticket Scheme (ATS) to ensure more of our members get the chance to see us play away.

A phased  discontinuation
To ensure a smooth transition for our ATS members, the scheme will be phased out over a two-year period, starting from the upcoming 2021/22 season.
ATS members are no longer required to pay the £25 annual fee and will be able to purchase tickets on a match-by-match basis rather than automatically being charged for every away fixture.
During the transition period, ATS members will have an exclusive priority booking window for each away match before we begin the standard sales process based on the number of away credits held.
From the start of the 2023/24 season, following the conclusion of this two-year transition period, access to purchase away tickets for all eligible members will be based solely on the number of away credits held by each member.
All away credits accrued during the two-year discontinuation period will count towards the credit-based system from the start of the 2023/24 season. Importantly, the credit system means supporters who attend away matches most regularly get priority access to away tickets.
Why are we making these changes?
We want to make away tickets more accessible to all eligible members and we expect to see this taking effect during the discontinuation period. As ATS members no longer have to purchase tickets to every away fixture, our expectation is that this will result in tickets for each away match being made more widely available.
As part of the changes, we are also intending to carry out increased ID checks at away games to ensure the purchaser of the away ticket is the attendee. This is part of our continued commitment to address ticket-touting and to ensure all tickets are used by our members.
