In the monthly Barclays Women's Super League awards, Alessia Russo and Steph Catley have been nominated for the Player of the Month for November.

Catley's recent shift to centre-back has produced an impressive run of form and the Matildas captain has helped us register two clean sheets this month. She's also played every possible minute this month, providing vital consistency at the back alongside Leah Williamson.
Meanwhile, Russo has been equally impressive at the other end of the pitch, scoring three times in November. This first goal came against her former club, Manchester United, which she followed up with a composed penalty against Brighton & Hove Albion. Her third goal against Tottenham Hotspur was the pick of the bunch - a first-time strike after only 62 seconds played.
Our number 23 has won the league's Player of the Month award twice before. This time around, our duo are up against Manchester City's Khadija Shaw, Chelsea's Guro Reiten and Mayra Ramirez, West Ham's Katrina Gorry and former Gunner, Anna Patten.
