Girls Youth Academy (FA Regional Talent Club & Pre Academy)
As part of our Arsenal Women FC Academy, we are proud to run an FA Licensed Regional Talent Club (RTC).
Over the years, Arsenal Women FC have seen many young female players come through the ranks and with an increased commitment to support this development, we hope that many more players will progress through the talent pathway to play for both Arsenal Women First team as well as gain International honours.
Current and previous first-team players such as Leah Williamson, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Anna Patten and Teyah Goldie have all come through our youth development pathway.
Players in the Academy will receive a full technical coaching programme, S&C programmes, Physio support and education and welfare support from our qualified multi-disciplinary team.
• Pre Academy (U9’s, U10’s, U11’s) train once a week whilst still playing for their grassroots club.
• RTC Academy (U12's, U13's U14's & U16's) train twice a week and play in an organised fixture programme
Girls Youth Academy Trials - 2022/23
Arsenal Women FC Academy are now accepting applications for players to trial for the following age groups at our FA Regional Talent Club & Pre Academy for the 2022-23 season:
• U9s – Year 3/4 Born September 1st 2013 – August 31st 2015
• U10s – Year 5 – Born September 1st 2012 - August 31st 2013
• U11s – Year 6 – Born September 1st 2011 – August 31st 2012
• U12s – Year 7 – Born September 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011
• U13s – Year 8 - Born September 1st 2009 – August 31st 2010
• U14s – Year 9 – Born September 1st 2008 – August 31st 2009
• U16s – Year 10/11 – Born September 1st 2006 – August 31st 2008
Spaces at our trials are limited and players will be invited to attend trials based on the information submitted in the below application form.
U16 OR U14 Age groups - Players MUST meet the following criteria to trial for the
• Have previously or currently play for an FA Regional Talent Club or FA Advanced Coaching Centre or in Boys Football
• Must live within 90 mins of the Arsenal FC Training Centre (AL2 1DR)
• Have an English Parent or English Grandparent or have been educated in England for at least five consecutive years
• International or Regional Experience is desirable
U13 OR U12 Age groups - Players MUST meet the following criteria to trial for the
• Currently playing for a school, grassroots team or RTC
• Must live within 90 mins of the Arsenal FC Training Centre (AL2 1DR)
• Have an English Parent or English Grandparent or have been educated in England for at least 5 consecutive years.
Pre Academy (U11/U10 and U9 Age groups) - Players MUST meet the following criteria to trial:
• Currently playing for a school, grassroots team or RTC
• Must live within 60 mins of the Arsenal FC Training Centre (AL2 1DR)
• Have an English Parent or English Grandparent or have been educated in England for at least 5 consecutive years.
