It’s the club’s dedicated matchday today, raising awareness of the amazing work done by the Arsenal Foundation – and the programme plays a big part in a special day for the club.
The cover star is one of our Coaching For Life participants, whose life at the Za’atari Refugee Camp has been helped immeasurably by this partnership with Save The Children. Ahmed is joined by 10 other youngsters inspired by Coaching For Life in a special profiles page – their names are also woven into the Arsenal players’ match shirts this evening!
Elsewhere the programme features captain’s and manager’s notes and both Mikel and Pierre address the difficult results the Gunners have endured recently.
There’s a really positive interview with Calum Chambers on his return to the team – and the threats posed by his former team, Southampton. Mo Elneny answers our ‘Always Forward’ questions – Mo won’t be travelling into space anytime soon! And our Young Gun features a player who’s had the most remarkable journey to get to Arsenal - Tim Akinola’s story is a must-read.
In addition, the programme features all your regulars, including historical articles (remember when Martin Keown played in midfield?) , a focus on the opposition, competitions and news from the Junior Gunners and community departments.
All of this content – and it’s free! However, on our dedicated matchday we encourage you to make a donation to the Arsenal Foundation. Please click here to do so.
A collectable print version of today’s programme is available here.
