Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

Women diary.

With the November international break upon us it’s set to be a quieter week at London Colney, but there’s still action across our women’s and academy teams to look out for.

Here’s what to expect on Arsenal.com this week:

MONDAY - SUNDAY

Kiwior Lewa

First week of internationals

We’ll be reporting on all of our players who have been called up for international duty this week.

There are plenty of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers taking place, the pick of the bunch being Poland v Czech Republic on Friday night.

Should Jakub Kiwior and Poland beat Czech Republic, they will stand a better chance of qualifying for the Euros.

Here's how Group E stands at the start of the week:

Country MP W D L GF GA GD PTS
Albania 6 4 1 1 11 3 8 13
Czechia 6 3 2 1 8 5 3 11
Poland 7 3 1 3 9 9 0 10
Moldova 6 2 3 1 6 6 0 9
Faroe Islands 7 0 1 6 2 13 -11 1

TUESDAY

Reading

7pm - Reading v Arsenal U21s

Our Under-21s travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to face Reading’s first team in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday night, the game kicking off at 7pm.

Both sides are already through to the knockout stages of the competition, but Tuesday’s game represents an opportunity for us to go top of Group O if we beat the Royals.

We will provide a full post-match report on Arsenal.com as well as reaction from Mehmet Ali and one of his young Gunners.

Club MP W D L GF GA GD PTS
Reading 2 2 0 0 14 0 14 6

TBC - Jonas Eidevall press conference

Ahead of our Barclays Women’s Super League game away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, Jonas Eidevall will hold his pre-match press conference.

A full round-up of everything that happened will be published on Arsenal.com right after.

SUNDAY

Crawley

2pm - Brighton v Arsenal Women

We travel to Crawley Town’s Broadfield Stadium to face Brighton in the Barclays Women’s Super League this weekend.

We’re currently second in the WSL with 13 points from six games after last weekend's 6-2 win at Leicester City, while Brighton are eighth with seven points, having shocked Manchester City with a 1-0 win in their last outing.

We will provide a full post-match report on Arsenal.com as well as reaction from Jonas and one of his players.
