Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

Our men’s, women’s, under-21s and under-18s teams are all back in action this week.

The men’s first team and academy sides all got off to a winning start in their league campaigns, while the women’s team have their first victory in the early stages of pre-season.

Here’s what to expect on Arsenal.com and the official app over the next seven days.

MONDAY

Reflecting on Wolves

Following our successful opening day win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Adrian Clarke has taken another look back at the game to share his analysis on the keys to our performance.

We will also be publishing a Creators Club gallery featuring photography from the stands at Emirates Stadium, as well as a new episode of Bench Cam, focusing on Mikel Arteta’s reactions.

9pm: Full match replay of Washington Spirit v Arsenal Women

A full match replay will be made available of our 2-1 win away to Washington Spirit, allowing you to watch every kick of the game.

Highlights are already live, showcasing Alessia Russo’s brace against the NWSL side.


TUESDAY

Women’s pre-season coverage

Women gym

There will be an open training session held this week, with a full gallery published on Arsenal.com and the official app, as well as tour diary content.

10pm - PFA awards announced

PFA Players of the Year, Young Players of the Year and Teams of the Year will be announced on Tuesday night.

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY

Classic encounters with Villa

Take a walk down memory lane with a look back at some of our best games with Aston Villa from over the years, before we travel to Villa Park for this weekend’s Premier League fixture.

Press conferences

Mikel Arteta will be back in front of the media at Sobha Realty Training Centre for his pre-Aston Villa press conference, which you can watch live on Arsenal.com and the official app.

We will also provide coverage of Jonas Eidevall’s press conference, as he looks ahead to the women’s friendly against Chelsea.

1pm - Wolves v Arsenal U21s

Brought forward from a 7pm kick-off, our under-21s head to Compton Park Training Ground for the next Premier League 2 fixture, having started the season with a 4-2 win over Manchester United.

Expect a full match report on Arsenal.com and the official app, as well as post-match reaction from Mehmet Ali and one of his young Gunners.

SATURDAY

11am - Arsenal U18s v Chelsea

Jack Wilshere’s youngsters continue their U18 Premier League campaign against Chelsea at Sobha Realty Training Centre this weekend, after a 3-2 win away to West Ham United to kick-off the campaign.

5.30pm - Aston Villa v Arsenal

White warm up

We travel to Villa Park for our first away game of the 2024/25 Premier League season, hoping to build on last weekend’s 2-0 success against Wolves, while Unai Emery’s side enjoyed a 2-1 win away to West Ham in their opening fixture.

We will bring you all the pre-match build-up on Arsenal.com and the official app, with our new matchday show Live From N5 starting an hour before kick-off. Post-match interviews, highlights and a full match replay will be published after the game.

SUNDAY

Women tunnel

9pm - Arsenal Women v Chelsea

Kicking off at 4pm local time (9pm in the UK), our women’s team continue their pre-season at Audi Field Stadium against Chelsea.

All the post-match reporting and reaction will be available on Arsenal.com and the official app after the final whistle.
