Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

It’s another huge week in the Premier League title race with games against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to come.

Our women’s team and academy sides are also in action, so here’s what to expect on Arsenal.com and the official app over the next seven days,

MONDAY

1.30pm - Mikel Arteta’s pre-Chelsea press conference

Mikel Arteta will be back in front of the media at Sobha Realty Training Centre for his pre-Chelsea press conference.

You can watch it live on Arsenal.com or the official app homepage as he shares the latest team news and more.

7pm - Blackburn Rovers v Arsenal U21s

Mehmet Ali’s young Gunners are back in action at Ewood Park on Monday night and Jurrien Timber is expected to make an appearance as he continues his road to recovery from an ACL injury.

TUESDAY

8pm - Arsenal v Chelsea

With the first of two London derbies this week, we have the opportunity to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League on Tuesday.

Chelsea are ninth but are just three points behind Newcastle United in sixth, having played one game fewer.

We will bring you all the usual pre-match build-up on Arsenal.com and the official app, with Breakdown Live starting an hour before kick-off. Post-match coverage, including interviews, highlights and a full match replay, will be published after the game.

FRIDAY

10.30am - Jonas Eidevall press conference

Looking ahead to our penultimate away game of the season against Everton, Jonas Eidevall will speak to the media on Friday.

Mikel Arteta will also speak to the media on Friday to preview our north London derby on Sunday.

SATURDAY

12pm - Norwich City v Arsenal U18s

This Saturday sees Jack Wilshere’s young Gunners make the trip to East Anglia to face Norwich City in U18 Premier League South.

We will provide a full match-report here on the website as our under-18s aim to make it four wins in a row.

SUNDAY

12.30pm - Everton v Arsenal Women

Arsenal Women

We travel to Walton Hall Park looking to keep the pressure on Chelsea and Manchester City at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The Toffees are ninth in the league with 18 points from 19 games and you can watch Sunday’s match live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

1pm - Liverpool v Arsenal U21s

The second game for our under-21s this week is a trip to Liverpool’s Academy Ground for another Premier League 2 Division One fixture.

2pm - Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal

The week comes to an end with a huge north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
