The first week of 2024 brings about the start of our Emirates FA Cup campaign.
Jack Wilshere’s under-18s will also be back in action this week, so here’s what to expect on Arsenal.com over the next seven days.
FRIDAY
TBC - Mikel Arteta press conference
Taking a short break from Premier League action, the boss will turn his attention to the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Liverpool will be the visitors at Emirates Stadium, and we will provide full coverage of Mikel’s pre-match press conference right here on Arsenal.com.
SATURDAY
12pm - Aston Villa U18s v Arsenal U18s
Our young Gunners begin 2024 with a trip to Bodymoor Heath Training Ground having ended 2023 with three wins in a row. In fact, Wilshere’s side are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions!
We’re one point behind Villa in the U18 Premier League South, however, despite their 3-2 loss at Crystal Palace prior to the Christmas break.
We will provide a match report of Saturday’s game as well as post-match reaction from Jack and one of his players.
SUNDAY
4.30pm - Arsenal v Liverpool
We face Liverpool for the second time this season, this time in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
We produced an impressive performance in December’s entertaining 1-1 draw at Anfield against Jurgen Klopp’s side and will be looking to go one further this time to begin the pursuit of our 15th FA Cup title.
There will be the usual pre-match build-up right here on Arsenal.com and the official app with Breakdown Live an hour before kick-off. All the usual post-match content will be published on both, including interviews and highlights as well as the full 90 minutes for you to enjoy if you missed the action.
