Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

It’s another busy week with six matches across our men’s, women’s and academy teams.

They include the end of our UEFA Youth League and UEFA Champions League group stages, two women’s north London derbies, an under-18s fixture, and then Premier League action against Brighton.

MONDAY

5.45pm - Mikel Arteta press conference

After touching down in Eindhoven, Mikel will address the media at 6.45pm local time (5.45pm BST) for his pre-PSV press conference.

TUESDAY

1pm - PSV U19s v Arsenal U19s

Our UEFA Youth League campaign comes to an end away to PSV Eindhoven’s under-19s at 2pm local time (1pm BST).

There will be a full match report on Arsenal.com as well as post-match reaction from Mehmet Ali and one of his young Gunners.

5.45pm - PSV v Arsenal

We’ll be looking to get back to winning ways after our 1-0 defeat away to Aston Villa on the weekend.

We’ve already qualified for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League and are top of Group B with 12 points ahead of Tuesday’s game at Philips Stadion, which begins at 6.45pm local time (5.45pm BST).

WEDNESDAY

7pm - Arsenal Women v Tottenham Hotspur Women

Wednesday brings our first north London derby of the season and our first north London derby of the week as Tottenham Hotspur visit Meadow Park for a FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup clash.

We’re currently joint top of Group D with Spurs having both won two games out of two in the competition.

Mikel will be back at London Colney and we will be providing live coverage of his pre-Brighton press conference on Arsenal.com. There will be a full-round up of all the key talking points published right after.

Then, Jonas will face the media for his second pre-Spurs press conference of the week to look ahead to the weekend’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We will again be covering the press conference and reporting all the key talking points.

SATURDAY

11am - Arsenal U18s v Fulham U18s

Following on from last week’s FA Youth Cup success at Meadow Park, Jack Wilshere’s under-18s are back at London Colney to host Fulham in the U18 Premier League South.

We will provide a full post-match report on Arsenal.com as well as reaction from Jack and one of his young Gunners.

12pm - Tottenham Hotspur Women v Arsenal Women

Kicking off one hour later, we travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on Robert Vilahamn’s side for the second time this week, this time in the Women’s Super League.

We’re currently joint top of the division with Chelsea, while Spurs are sixth with three wins, three draws and three defeats.

2pm - Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion

Finally, Premier League football returns to Emirates Stadium with the visit of the Seagulls on Sunday afternoon.

We’re currently just one point behind leaders Liverpool and one ahead of third-placed Aston Villa, while Brighton are eighth in the league off the back of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Burnley.
