Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

Arsenal celebrate beating Manchester United

As well as the return of Premier League football this weekend, there’s plenty going on elsewhere around the club this week - here is everything you can expect over the course of the next seven days:

Attention now turns to preparing for the Barclays Women's Super League, which begins against Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, October 1.

Havertz Saliba

A number of our players could be in international action on Tuesday, starting with Takehiro Tomiyasu in Japan’s friendly against Turkey.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, Martin Odegaard, David Raya, Leandro Trossard, and Karl Hein could all be in UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying action for their countries, while Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka will be hoping to be involved in England’s friendly against Scotland in Glasgow.

Kai Havertz and William Saliba could go head to head as Germany play France in a friendly match in Dortmund.
