We are delighted to announce that Arsenal Ladies captain Alex Scott has signed a new contract.
Our skipper first signed for us aged eight years old and has played a crucial role in the history of our club. Throughout Alex's time at Arsenal, she has helped us to win nine league titles and seven Women's FA Cup's.
Aside from being an club legend, Alex has succeeded internationally too with over 100 appearances for the Lionesses.
Pedro Martinez Losa said: "We are very pleased that Alex has signed a new contract with us. Alex is a true leader who brings so much to our team.
"She shows professionalism on and off the pitch, providing a great example and role model for our younger players to look up to."
