Alessia Russo has been named the Barclays Women's Super League Player of the Month for December.
Our number 23 scored three times in our two league fixtures last month as we extended our unbeaten run in all competitions to 11.
Her brace against Aston Villa in our 4-0 win at Emirates Stadium was followed up by the match-winner away to Liverpool, bringing her WSL goal tally up to six.
Russo also swept our club awards last month, clinching the Goal of the Month and women's Player of the Month accolades. She last won the Barclays WSL Player of the Month trophy in April 2024.
