Arsenal Under-18s fell to their second defeat of their Premier Academy League season when they lost narrowly to Middlesborough Under-18s on Saturday.
Jamal Raage gave the young Gunners the lead in just the second minute before Tom McAloon equalised for the hosts 15 minutes later.
Kaylen Hinds briefly restored the visitors' lead in the 35th minute but the home side were back on terms four minutes later through Callum Cooke.
Carl Laraman's side looked set to take a point back to north London but substitute Jordan Jowers popped up with the winner in stoppage time to give Middlesbrough all three points.
