By Joe BrewinArsenal Ladies put themselves firmly in the driving seat for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 4-0 first-leg victory over FC Bobruichanka. Before the game Laura Harvey called for consistency from her Gunners side as they look to go one step further than last season’s Semi-Final place. And the Ladies manager will no doubt be delighted with what she saw from her side in a potentially tricky encounter against the Belarus champions. Ellen White opened the scoring after nine minutes to give the Ladies a slender half-time lead. The second half was a different story completely as Harvey's team produced three more goals to put themselves in command.Jordan Nobbs made it two in the 64th minute before Jennifer Beattie and Katie Chapman completed a fine afternoon's work. The Ladies will look to close out the tie when they host Bobruichanka in the second leg on October 5.
