Julie Fleeting scored four times as Arsenal Ladies moved closer to
another Premier League title with an emphatic 7-0 win against
Doncaster Rovers Belles at Boreham Wood FC.

The Scotland international captain took her tally for the season
to 28 in all competitions with some typically ruthless finishing.
Karen Carney, Lianne Sanderson and Jayne Ludlow were also on target
in a one-sided encounter.

England winger Carney broke the deadlock after 10 minutes with a
clinical finish from Kelly Smith's through-ball. Fleeting
opened her personal account eight minutes later and added her
second after 25 minutes from Carney's right-wing cross.

Sanderson scored Arsenal's fourth five minutes into the
second half, volleying home Rachel Yankey's pinpoint cross from
the left flank. Ludlow got in on the act with a emphatic finish
from 10 yards after Fleeting had been denied her hat-trick by
Belles keeper Clare Farrow.

Fleeting didn't have to wait long for her treble though. She
smashed a half-volley past Farrow from just outside the box after
exchanging passes with Sanderson and then added her fourth - and
Arsenal's seventh - a minute from time.

Vic Akers' side have now scored more than 100 goals in the
Premier League this season and require just two more points from
their four remaining fixtures to be certain of the title. However,
one point should be sufficient given Arsenal's vastly-superior
goal difference.

The champions can clinch the title with a win at Chelsea next
Tuesday.

Arsenal's next game is the London County Cup Final against
Millwall on Wednesday night before they head to Sweden for the
first leg of the UEFA Women's Cup Final against Umea on
Saturday. You can enjoy all the build-up to the Final on
