As one of the longest-serving players at the club, Rob showed his dependability and reliability last term, making 24 appearances in all competitions, and notching two goals. He was particularly impressive during our Europa League campaign, scoring at home to Bodo/Glimt as we secured top spot in the group. He also started several times in the Premier League, including back-to-back 4-1 home wins over Crystal Palace and Leeds United during the run-in.

Right-footed, composed and tough in the tackle, Rob is also a natural leader who has often captained the side. Signed by Arsène Wenger as a 20-year-old from Bolton in 2016, just after being named their Player of the Year, he went on to win the FA Cup at the end of his first season in London. He starred again when lifting the trophy for a second time following another win over Chelsea in the Covid-delayed 2020 final, and has also twice won the Community Shield. A former England Under-21 international, he was part of the Toulon Tournament winning side in 2016.
