Dazzling winger Nicolas (known around the club as Nico) enjoyed a highly productive season, racking up a combined 22 goals and assists in all competitions.

He reached double figures for goals in the Premier League with back-to-back braces in the final two games, but it was perhaps his performances in Europe that truly caught the eye.

A tricky, pacey forward who loves to cut in from the right flank onto his deadly left foot, the Ivorian is also a free kick and penalty specialist. The club record signing when he joined from Lille at the start of 2019/20, he ended his debut season by setting up the winning goal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 2020 FA Cup final.

A regular for the Ivory Coast, he appeared at both the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
