Marouane Chamakh left Arsenal for Crystal Palace in 2013 after spending the second half of the previous season on loan at West Ham United.
The Morocco forward spent three years with the Gunners scoring 14 goals in 67 appearances, including the fasted league goal scored in the club’s history, after 37 seconds against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Chamakh also helped Arsenal advance to the quarter-finals of the League Cup by scoring twice to complete the Gunners’ famous comeback against Reading in 2012.
He then spent the second half of the 2012/13 season on loan at West Ham United where he played three games without scoring, before joining Crystal Palace at the end of the Premier League campaign.
