John Clark joined Arsenal from Borrowstounness for £150 in March 1923.
The outside right, a former miner, made his debut against Aston Villa one month later. It was the first of six senior starts in just over three years.
Clark played more regularly in the Football Combination, where he scored 14 times in 77 appearances.
He made his final appearance for Arsenal's first team against Sunderland in November 1924.
