John Blackwood joined Arsenal from Glasgow Celtic in May 1900.
With the Gunners in Division Two at the time, Blackwood made a goalscoring debut on the opening day of the 1900/01 season in a 2-1 win over Gainsborough Trinity.
The centre forward spent one season at the Club and played 18 times, scoring seven goals.
Blackwood transferred to Reading in May 1901 after helping the Gunners secure a seventh-place finish.
