An energetic and skilful forward capable of playing anywhere across the front line, Joel made great strides in his development last season at under-23 level, making 14 appearances in Premier League 2 as well as scoring for under-21s in the EFL Trophy.
The highlight of his season though came against Southampton in December 2021, when he scored a spectacular long-range chip in the Premier League Cup.
A Netherlands youth international, Joel is in his third season at our club, after joining from Ajax.
