Right back Job Whitfield joined Arsenal from Houghton-le-Wear in December 1896.
His time at the Club proved to be short-lived, however, and he made just two starts.
Whitfield made his league debut against Blackpool in December 1896 - a 4-2 victory - before completing his final appearance in Arsenal colours against Darwen less than a month later.
